The following images were shot with the Olympus C4040 Zoom, 4.1 megapixel digital camera. It's really versatile and produces images that can print a 16" x 20" with great resolution. I started working with the camera while employed as the Art Director for Delegata, and I've been shooting with it ever since. Many of these images have been altered with PhotoShop, output to acid free watercolor paper, and enhanced with watercolor and prismacolor pencils. The illustrator in me still struggles with leaving an image alone and not "reworking" it.

I've included some of the images from the "Delegata Lunch" series- images shot in downtown Sacramento while "taking a walk" for lunch. Images are from 2001 to 2003.

I've taken some liberties here with the photo ...actually it's kinda hard to tell it's a photo anymore. I've imported the image back into Photo Shop and used the SI filter to blow it up BIG, then manually flattened and added color.

Shooting pics in abandoned buildings is scary fun... you never know what's inside. In this abandoned house, I found a small room room off the garage where the "dried blood" on the walls behind a homemade "crusher" whispers a story only few would like to hear.

I really like the old printed images that came from the mass production printing houses of the late 40's and 50's...misregistration and all. I've tried on several occasions to get that "old postcard" illustration look with varying degrees of success.
