Since
Delegata is a fast growing company, getting together
for a mid year business plan update keeps all informed
of our progress and gives us another opportunity to
celebrate our successes and review where we need to
improve. This year, the business plan update luncheon
was held on Monday, July 29th in the Sacramento Club.
All full time employees were invited to attend the 2-hour
event to hear what the management team had in store
for the rest of the year!
The luncheon started off with a review of our growth
and what we have done so far. Kais spoke of our accomplishments
and the new client accounts we are staring to work with.
He also went over the projected growth and actual growth
and showed how we were on target to make our numbers
for the year. With over 15 open positions, it is obvious
that we have some growing pains as well as successes
ahead!
In response to the surveys handed out to all full time
employees, Kais went over the results and findings.
Overall, the management team received positive results
and even more positive feedback as to what could be
done better. Main issues of concern for employees were
benefits and culture, which Kais stated would be part
of his immediate priority list.
Brian spoke for a few minutes regarding benefits and
the efforts being made in that direction. Though he
was primarily working on the Internet Portal project
at CalPERS through the end of July, Brian stepped in
to work on the Delegata benefits project as it was an
immediate priority for the company. His report was mostly
a summary of the steps that will be taken in the upcoming
months where the employee stock purchase plan was concerned.
Kais finished the luncheon off by handing out bonus
checks and announcing promotions. Congratulations to
the following employees on their recent advancement
and congratulations to all Delegatans for a job well
done!
